Question-1
What is Yu Yu Hakusho?
Yu Yu Hakusho is a 19 volume manga (Japanese comic) by Yoshihiro Togashi and a 112 episode anime (Japanese animation) based on the manga. The hero of the story is Yusuke Urameshi, a 14 yr. old juvinile delinquent whose life is changed forever after he is killed in a traffic accident while trying to save a young child. The Spirit World (which deals with assigning dead people to their destinations) is stunned by his unexpected death and decides to let Yusuke come back to life. After he comes back to life, Yusuke becomes a Spirit World Investigator for the Spirit World (Rei-kai) and goes on adventures with his other fellow detectives, fighting evil monsters and other "bad guys." The story is great for fans of fighting anime/manga, as it's filled with action and suspense. It also has a good helping of the supernatural, romance, and bits and pieces of comedy. Yu Yu Hakusho also has through character development, often showing many different angles of its main and minor characters. Another plus: any fan of bishonen (beautiful boy) style drawing is definitely in for a treat!

Question-2
What's the difference between the manga and the anime?
The manga and the anime are very similar. The anime keeps most of the storyline of the manga, with the exception of a few stories such as Two Shots (the special story that tells how Kurama and Hiei first met). To make it more "kid-friendly", the anime also has more silly scenes with Koenma in it, and changes minor stuff like Yusuke's smoking habits, etc. Another note: The manga has some neat little doodles and stories by the author in it, and in my opinion, really makes the manga worth it, even if you can't read it.

Question-3
What about the Yu Yu Hakusho movies? There are two movies. The first one came out in 1993, and is around 30 min. In the movie, Koenma is kidnapped, and the Spirit World Detectives go out to get him back. The second one is much longer. This 90 min. movie was released in 1994. The story is mainly about how the lord of the netherworld, Yakumo, tries to take over the human world, and how the Spirit World detectives have to battle him and his cronies to save the world. Both movies have been released in the United States, the shorter one being released by Anime Works, and the longer one released by Central Park Media under the name The Poltergeist Report.

Question-6
May I use the images in your gallery?
I don't really care. Most were taken from other sites and some were scanned by me. Please do credit this site if you take any images. However, remote linking is strictly prohibited. Those caught doing so will be dealt with severely. I will send the MOOSE after you and trust me you do not want Moose on you. Remote linking is using the images in your own gallery by using my URL as the link to the images. This takes away my host's bandwidth. Be considerate.

Question-7
Does Kenshin say "I love you" to Kaoru?
>Please understand the Japanese people were not historically known for telling the one they love that they love him/her. Rather, there is an unspoken understanding. They do not feel the need to tell the person directly. How you act towards a person is better than words. Kissing was also done privately and not out in the public.

Question-8
Throughout the RK series, I notice the drawing styles of the anime change. Why does this happen?
Animation style varies among the numerous artists that draw RK. Also, in the beginning of the TV series, it wasn't known if RK would be successful so the drawing isn't as good as near the middle and end of the story

Question-14
How long is the Inu Yasha Anime?
The anime is AT LEAST 89 episodes so far (last I checked) but I have not watched it since around episode 30 because It deviated too much from the manga. If you are fortunate enough to have the Cartoon Network with your cable package (I am not) you can watch Inu Yasha there.
