Welcome to Dam Anime Lover’s home for anime. Here you will find
that I have broken the site down into sections, each containing a different
anime show. I plan on adding more shows later on down the road. Right now I want
to pay homage to the shows I personally enjoy at this moment. To be added at a
later time, sound bites and music. So check back often to see a work of art in
progress!

The first anime show I want to introduce is
Rurouni
Kenshin, In the eleventh year of the Meiji Era (1878), a vagabond swordsman
is found wandering the streets of Tokyo. A strange man, he carries a
reverse-bladed sword and has an x-shaped scar on his cheek. He wants only to be
left alone. However, a girl named Kamiya Kaoru accuses him of being the man
claiming the identity of the legendary Hitokiri Battousai. This man is murdering
people in the name of her family's doujo. When he saves her from the real
killer, she invites him to come stay at her doujo, since he obviously has no
other place to go. This is the beginning of the story of Himura Kenshin.

The second anime show I will talk about is
Inu Yasha, Long ago,
in Japan's era of the "Warring States," a legendary doglike halfdemon called Inu
Yasha attempted to steal the Shikon Jewel, or the Jewel of Four Souls from a
village. However he was stopped by the dying priestess Kikyo, who shot his with
a magic arrow, putting him into a deep sleep. Centuries later a girl called
Kagome falls into an old well and is transported back in time to 50 years after
Kikyo's death. There she awakens Inuyasha and is discovered to be the
reincarnation of Kikyo. The Shikon Jewel is also found to be hidden in her body.
Later, due to a twist of fate the Jewel is shattered. Now Inu Yasha and Kagome
must travel to find the shards and prevent them from being posessed by demons.
The Inu Yasha manga is the creation of the ever famous Rumiko Takahashi. It runs
in the weekly manga magazine, Shonen Sunday. It began it's run in 1996 (13th
Novenber) and is still continuing. ...

The next anime section is dedicated to
Yu Yu Hakusho, This
story revolves around a 14 yr old delinquent named Yusuke Urameshi. Skipping
school and getting into fights were his favorite things to do. Not known for his
soft gentle side, he broke all the rules of the spirit world by jumping in front
of a car to save a small boy. The ruler of the spirit world was not ready for
this punk’s untimely demise so he sent his assistant to go and work with this
full of surprise’s boy to get his body back. She trains him to become a psychic
detective for the spirit world. This starts the saga of Yu Yu
Hakusho.

The next anime section is dedicated to
Fullmetal Alchemist ,"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one and only truth."
This is the beginning of a journey for 2 brothers into a world of science, growing up, mystery and twists and turns at ever corner. Please come into the world of Fullmetal Alchemist and get ready for the ride of your life!
